About Us

Sugar & Dice is a board game cafe in the Baltic Triangle area of Liverpool City Centre.

We opened our doors in 2016, and since then we've welcomed hundreds of families, students, and board game enthusiasts from the local area, and further afield.

Our Vision

From the very beginning, owner and founder Rachel Button knew that she wanted to create a warm, welcoming space in the centre of Liverpool, where people could come together and share their love of gaming.

She imagined a place where friends could spend time together, families could bond, and new friendships could be forged. She has dedicated herself to creating a safe and inclusive cafe where everyone feels welcome and happy, and that's exactly what she's achieved.

Whether you're a D&D pro, an experienced board game player, or you've never played a game in your life, and you just want to go somewhere fun (where you can have a lovely lunch and a slice of delicious homemade cake), Sugar & Dice is the place for you.
